Opening and closing channels between peers in Bitcoin is the simplest and most common thing for NodeRunners, however, with the emergence of Nostr this has allowed the creation of new services for Bitcoiners.
Focusing on this, Area Layer is proud to announce Lightning Lending, and it’s not “DeFi” or anything else. But rather, the implementation of our NIP, which allows opening and closing channels using Nostr protocol.
